Additional Details

An early photograph by Myron Kozman, who was one of the first five graduates of the Institute of Design in Chicago. He enrolled at the encouragement of Laszlo Moholy-Nagy after already establishing himself as an artist. His contemporaries and teachers, Kepes and Moholy-Nagy, encouraged Kozman to explore photography. Most of his photographic work was produced between 1937 and 1945.
